When it comes to prepared vegan (dairy-free and eggless) snacks, the pickings are slim. But these frozen rolled tacos and taquitos deliver for taste and convenience

Crispy rolled tacos and taquitos are packaged, frozen corn or flour tortillas stuffed with flavorful fillings. These all-vegan snacks are available in the grocer’s freezer. The corn tortillas (taquitos) are wheat- and gluten-free.

Taquitos are perfect for:

  • Party snacks
  • Appetizers
  • Tailgating parties
  • Midnight cravings
  • Supper

Serving Suggestions

  • Eat them on their own. The're delicious!
  • Get fancy with rolled tacos or taquitos by making a cream cheese (or vegan cream cheese) dip
  • Try topping with salsa and sour cream (for lacto-vegetarians)
  • For a meal, layer taquitos or rolled tacos with grated cheese (for lacto-vegetarians), cilantro, tomato salsa, sour cream and green onions.

Vegan Taquitos are Made from Real Ingredients

Frozen foods are notorious for containing additives – preservatives, emulsifiers, thickeners and more – to make these foods taste like they were just cooked. Starlite Cuisine's rolled tacos and taquitos, on the other hand, use remarkably natural ingredients. They don't use genetically modified organisms (GMOs). And the ingredient list is shorter than it is for typical meat taquitos. See below for the ingredient list.

Vegan Taquitos are Flavorful and Unique

Starlite Cuisine’s vegan taquitos and rolled tacos stand out from other bland frozen foods. Don’t think that because these snacks are vegan, they’re lacking for taste. Real spices like cumin and chilli powder spice up real ingredients like black beans, onions and chipotle peppers. Texturized vegetable protein (TVP) acts as a hearty meat substitute in the “chicken” and "beef" flavored tacos. There’s no processed or vegan cheese here – and it’s not needed either.

Taquito Nutrition Facts

Vegan taquitos and rolled tacos are made from ingredients that sound like real food, because they are real food. There’s only a scant amount of oil to be found, and these snacks can cook without additional fat.

One caution with these tasty vittles – some varieties can be higher in sodium (salt), while others are lower.
